해운대에서 거리가 먼 부산의 오래된 마을, 산복도로에 있는 카페에 배우 민이 들어온다. 카페 안에서는 작가이자, 연출자인 하늘이 기다리고 있고, 그들은 서로 만나서 전혀 다른 시각을 가진 채로 대화를 시작한다.

In the old town of Busan, which is a long distance from Haeundae, actor Min is entering the café on the mountain road. In the café, the writer and the director, Haneul is waiting for Min. They meet each other and start a conversation with a completely different perspective.

‘민’은 배우다. 단편영화에 출연하려고 감독과 만나기로 했다. 그렇지만 막상 약속장소에 나가보니, 전혀 생각하지도 못했던 사람이 감독이라며 앉아있다. 그는 다소 황당하고 어이가 없다. 그래서 자기의 기분을 전혀 숨기지 않고 예의 빈정거리며 대화에 임한다. 하지만 자리에서 일어나려던 민은 놀라운 사실을 알게 된다. 눈에 보이는 것이란 얼마나 불확실하고도 혼란한 것인가. 또 사람들 각자가 가진 가치와 입장이란 얼마나 다른지! 이는 영화에서 두 사람의 시선이 연결되어 만나지 못한 채 각자 다른 곳을 향하는 대화 장면을 통해서 형상화된다.

‘Min’ is an actor. He was supposed to meet with a film director to star in a short film. But when he arrives at the meeting place, there is the director he never thought of. He is speechless and taken aback. Hence, he disrespectfully has a conversation with her without hiding his feelings. However, when he was about to leave, he finds out something surprising. How uncertain and confused is what we see! Also, how different is each person has values and positions. This is shown by a dialogue scene that the two people are getting off the track.

단지 케이로스는 48세 기혼 남성으로, 산토스 상파울로에서 태어났다. Monte Serrat-Unimonte University에서 영화와 시청각 예술학부를 졸업했고, 그는 그의 경력을 단편 극영화 <Tato>(2013)의 책임프로듀서로 시작했다. 단편 다큐멘터리 <Touching My Destiny>(2015) 뿐만 아니라 단편영화 <For Her>(2015)와 <Wouned>(2016)에서 작가와 연출가로서 일을 계속했다. 연출과 제작 뿐만 아니라 2000년부터 시나리오, 시, 편지, 그리고 단편글을 꾸준히 써왔다.
Dandi Queiroz, 48, married, was born in Santos São Paulo. Graduated in Film and Audiovisual from Monte Serrat-Unimonte University. Dandi Queiroz began his career as an executive producer on the short film fiction "Tato" 2013. He continued as writer and director in the short documentary "Touching My Destiny" 2015, in the short fiction "For Her" 2015, in short fiction "Wounded" 2016. In addition to directing, producing, also writes scripts, poetry, letters and short stories since 2000.

남자는 오래된 차를 바꾸라고 하지만 여자는 고쳐서 쓰고 싶다. 남자는 둘 데 없는 책들을 버리려 하고 여자는 계속 글을 쓸 사람이 왜 그걸 버리는지 이해하지 못하겠다. 오래된 연인의 일상은 언뜻 평온한 것처럼 흘러가지만 하루에도 몇 번씩 삐걱거린다. 아직 여름이 채 오지도 않았지만 대책 없이 내리쬐는 햇볕, 짙게 지는 그림자, 힘겹게 올라야 하는 가파른 계단과 자꾸만 걸음을 늦추게 만드는 짐처럼 영화 속 모든 지형지물과 날씨와 어쩌면 아무것도 아닐지 모르는 말, 눈빛과 행동 속에 이들 연인의 관계. 그들 사이에 흐르는 감정이 읽힌다.

A man wants a man to change the old car but she wants to fix and use it. He tries to throw the books away because there is no place to put them. But she does not understand why a person who needs to write is throwing away. The life of a long-lasting couple looks peaceful but the relationship is fading. Even though summer is not here yet, the sun is pretty strong, the sunlight casts a dark shadow, the stair is quite steep, and luggage make steps slower. As like this, the relationship of the couple and feelings between two of them are revealed through all the terrain, weather, meaningless words and in their eyes and behavior.

경쾌한 유머로서 그려내는 평범한(?) 회사원의 삶. 우리의 주인공 ‘허구’가 잘 안 풀리는 회사일, 각종 공과금과 세금, 어머니의 결혼 압력으로부터 벗어나는 방법은 온라인 컴퓨터 게임을 하는 것이다. 또한 그것은 굳이 컴퓨터 앞에 앉지 않아도 가능하다. 그가 마음만 먹으면 빽빽한 빌딩 숲과 인파들이 가득한 이 도시는 컴퓨터 게임 속의 거대한 맵으로 변화하기 때문이다. 후반부에 이어지는 도시의 모습들을 본다면 당신도 그에 동의할 것이다. 이미 우리에게 익숙한 풍경이지만, 거기엔 저마다 다른 모습을 한 삶과 시간들이 만들어내는 활기가 있다.

The life of an ordinary office worker is described as cheerful humor. ‘Heogu’, the main character, is stressed out because of work, utility fees, taxes, and the pressure of getting married from his mom. The way to deal with the stress is to play online computer games. It is even possible without sitting at a computer. Because if he decides to, the city -he lives in a city that is the dense concentrations of tall buildings and full of people- turns into a giant map of computer games. If you see the city in the second half of the movie, you will agree with him. Even though the scenes look familiar, some liveliness created by different life and time.

사샤 스태니시크는 1979년 프리슈티나(Prishtina)에서 태어났다. 그는 철학부(Faculty of Philosophy)에서 비교 및 세계문학을 졸업했고, 극예술학부(Faculty of Dramatic Arts)에서 영화연출을 졸업했다. 그는 단편영화 "Mangava Disko Punk", "Sarah, The Myth", "Uncle Boris", "Ziatko Went to Bed and Doesn't Want to Get Up" 그리고 "Down from Heaven"의 감독이다. 그는 독립영화감독으로 활동하고 있으며 스코페에 살고 있다. 그는 현재 그의 첫 번째 장편영화 준비 중에 있다.
Sasha Stanishic was born 1979 in Prishtina. He graduated Comparative and World Literature at Faculty of Philosophy and Film Drirecting at Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. He is the author of some short films including "Mangava Disko Punk", "Sarah, The Myth", "Uncle Boris", "Ziatko Went to Bed and Doesn't Want to Get Up" and "Down from Heaven". He lives in Skopje where he works as an independent filmmaker. He is currently developing his first feature movie.
